2026 marks a significant milestone for us as the company celebrates its 40th anniversary, recognising four decades of continuous evolution and progress.
Founded in 1986 as a hands-on cabling and infrastructure services business, we have grown alongside the built environment. While our foundations in quality, craft and delivery excellence remain unchanged, we have evolved into a fully integrated digital buildings service provider, uniting secure, resilient, digital infrastructure into a seamless portfolio of services spanning the entire building lifecycle.
Today we deliver an end-to-end portfolio of digital solutions with core capabilities spanning ICT cabling, network infrastructure, electronic security, audio visual systems and IoT/OT technologies, that can be bound together via our MSI services and software. This integrated capability enables us to support clients requiring any service, from standalone ICT cabling, electronic security or any of the company’s core capabilities to the delivery of fully enabled smart buildings, across a wide range of sectors, including commercial real estate, data centres, office environments, airports, hospitality, residential and healthcare.
With a unified, end-to-end digital approach, we can connect every stage of smart building delivery – from construction and commercial building refurbishment through to ongoing operation and support services, creating a trusted digital “golden thread” that links project delivery, live operational data and long-term digital services throughout the building lifecycle.
Drawing on experience from shaping some of the UK’s most advanced buildings, our fully connected approach ensures buildings perform better, are more secure, resilient and operationally efficient, while delivering healthier, more human-centric environments for the people who use them, and stronger returns for owners and operators.
“Reaching 40 years is an important milestone, but it’s also a launchpad for what comes next,” said Mike Hook, Executive Director at LMG. “By uniting everything we do into one connected digital vision, we help our customers, from all sectors, move beyond isolated systems and unlock real-time insight, performance and long-term value across their buildings.”
Throughout 2026, we will mark our anniversary by celebrating our people, partners, projects and service innovation, while continuing to share insight into the future of digital buildings and raising standards across the industry through collaboration, best practice and data-led delivery.
