  1. Graduate Commercial Manager/Quantity Surveyor - London

    We are looking to recruit a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to work alongside our Senior Commercial Managers in a busy and fast-paced department.

    As a core member of a highly motivated and forward-thinking team, the successful candidate will have the ability to engage with project teams and clients ensuring that forecasted project margins are met or exceeded. Your focus will be on working closely with project teams to deliver projects on time and on budget whilst never compromising on quality and client satisfaction; as part of this, you will be managing the entire cost cycle for employee, contractor and material costs, as well as value engineering, settling final accounts and negotiating contracts.

    You will receive mentorship from a team of experienced colleagues whilst having the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects where you can make a real difference to performance and outcomes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure timely and accurate submission of commercial documents;
    • Assist with variation identification and measurement;
    • Review contract forms and ensure submission of notices;
    • Monitor payments notices and report main contractor valuation discrepancies;
    • Establish and maintain commercial documents and registers;
    • Produce and analyse progress reports, updated costs and forecasts;
    • Undertake Final Account preparation and negotiation;
    • Prepare and issue monthly written project reports; and
    • Work alongside Project Managers to prepare for monthly financial reviews ensuring the highest levels of accuracy.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum 2.1 undergraduate degree (expected or obtained), in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management;
    • Team player with excellent verbal, written and presentations skills;

  2. Senior Project Manager - London

    This position will require knowledge of Smart Building technologies including but not limited to: LAN (wired/WiFi), Cabling, Security, AV, Lighting Control, BMS & iLBS., and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the IT Infrastructure industry. You will be responsible for owning the delivery, QA/EHS and financial elements of allocated Smart Building D&B projects including; all internal, external teams and client relationships associated with the project. It is the SPM’s responsibility to ensure that all Smart Building D&B projects are delivered on, or above, their target margins.

    Key Tasks:

    • Initiate and subsequently take ownership of the project at project initiation (Pre-Contract Review).
    • Take responsibility for and manage the design development process ensuring any gaps between our tendered deliverables, contractual obligations and the employers/customer requirements are identified and managed.
    • Ensure design development workshops are completed in a timely manner. To include the completion and submission of the PiD (Project Initiation Doc).
    • Definition of key milestones, Procurement Schedules, Cash flows and application timetable.
    • Ensure that integrated programmes are created and issued to the main contractor at the earliest opportunity. Programmes must identify the critical path and all interdependencies.
    • Ensuring all project details are entered on to LMG’s internal systems, making use of the RAG status reporting mechanism for regular updates.
    • Ensuring contractual obligations of invoices/valuations by liaising closely with LMG Finance staff and the commercial team.
    • Ensure management responsibility for the RFI and Variation Order process.
    • Ensuring projects follow LMG’s Quality Assurance and H&S guidelines.
    • Ownership of the production process for client construction and ‘as built’ documentation
    • Ensuring seamless handover and signed acceptance of projects to LMG or client Support/Maintenance services.
    • Management responsibility of all project team members, including liaison with HR for personnel issues and record updating.
    • Management responsibility for subcontractors, partners and allocated Technical Services staff with clear definition of engagement T&C’s and responsibilities.

    Knowledge & Skills:

    • Project Manager experienced in the delivery of large commercial building construction projects.
    • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills applied to Site
    • Managers and engineers as well as third party trade co-workers, fit-Out managers and client representatives.
    • Qualified APM Project Manager, IPMA Level D, Prince2 Practitioner or equivalent preferable.
    • Good knowledge of building services and infrastructure obtained within the construction industry.
    • Skilled in programme production and the use of critical path analysis.
    • Team player with excellent inter-personal and communication skills; both written and verbal.
    • Excellent time management and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
    • Self-motivated and proactive, able to work on own initiative.
    • A minimum of 5 GCSE’s grade C and above including, English and Maths

  3. Account Manager Co-Working/Co-living Market - London

    As a proven leader in the design, delivery and on-going support of the Internet of Things within buildings (BIoT), we are looking to recruit a Key Account Manager to develop our presence in the Co-Working/Co-living market, taking ownership of LMG’s most prestigious Co-Working account.

    As a core member of a highly motivated, successful sales team a successful candidate will have the ability to engage with clients at all levels of management, to define and understand their requirements and ensure successful project implementation. The successful candidate will be diligent, strategic and fast thinking with good business and financial acumen.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ownership and development of client relationship, including project and procurement teams and partners;
    • Management of the client lookahead and production of revenue, forecast and resource plan;
    • Management of the Sales Order Process (SOP): quotation, purchase order and acknowledgement;
    • Management of financial change and authorisation process;
    • Ownership of reporting process, dashboard (RAG) and monthly/quarterly client reviews;
    • Facilitation vendor management and relationship development ensuring competitive prices from selected vendors;

  4. Project Manager - London

    We are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join our busy team.

    This position will require knowledge of Smart Building technologies, including but not limited to: LAN (wired/Wi-Fi), cabling, security, AV, lighting control, BMS and iLBS.     You will be responsible for owning the delivery, QA, Health & Safety and financial management of Smart Building D&B projects. In addition, you will confidently lead and manage staff allocated to your projects and oversee third party contractors. It is the Project Manager’s responsibility to ensure that all Smart Building D&B projects are delivered at, or above, their target margins so strong financial acumen is crucial.

    Key Tasks:

    • Assistance in the major projects tender process as required
    • Attendance and input in pre, mid and post bid interviews
    • Preparation of cash flow forecasts and valuations
    • Organising and driving design development workshops
    • Management of all pre-construction documentation, materials, and workforce requests.

A PRINCE2 and/or APMP (PMQ) qualification will be a distinct advantage.     This position will require knowledge of Smart Building technologies including but not limited to: LAN (wired/WiFi), Cabling, Security, AV, Lighting Control, BMS & iLBS., 5 years minimum experience in the IT infrastructure industry and strong proven management skills.

    You will be responsible for managing and coordinating on site installations teams, liaising with site personnel to ensure all works are coordinated whilst managing all documentation.

    Key Tasks:

    • Managing and coordinating on-site installations team for one or more Smart Building package;
    • Liaising with site personnel to ensure all works are completed on time;
    • Managing stock, ordering, purchasing and handling of all materials as well as costing and supervising the deliveries;
    • Managing and updating daily management information;
    • Daily meeting, progress meetings and troubleshooting;
    • Managing the site security and conducting regular site safety checks;
    • Completion of allocated projects to a satisfactory standard.

    Essential:

    • Strong and proven management skills with experience running a team;
    • 5 years’ minimum experience in the IT/OT infrastructure industry;

  6. Head of On-Demand-Services - London

    We are looking to recruit the Head of On-Demand Services to join our busy team.

    This position will require management of all LMG On-Demand client delivery. To oversee the day to day running of all On-Demand service contracts and to ensure they are consistently delivered to the highest standard. To be the main escalation point of contact for the SDM’s and DMs for all On-Demand client queries or concerns. To be responsible for the P&L for the Workstream.
