LMG has been at the forefront of innovation in the built environment for nearly 40 years and we are proud of our reputation for quality. And to us quality means having a team with a commitment to working collaboratively and looking after every detail of a project.
We aren’t here to do things the way they always have been. We want to disrupt the building services market, and we need people who share that ambition.
LMG is UK market leader in training and accreditation - creating new qualifications to support the need for converged delivery of building services. We continue to invest in developing a high-calibre, multi-skilled team to be able to deliver on the promise of the converged approach.
No matter what your role is, at LMG we expect our people to be hands-on with our customers. With our approach we need people who truly understand the ‘art of the possible’ who can lead customers, rather than just follow.
We value long-term thinking and want to provide the support and the development opportunities that mean our people will be here for many years. We want to be integral to your career, not a job.
In this role, you’ll take a leading position in shaping LMG’s Smart Building solutions from the very first enquiry through to contract award and pre-construction handover. You’ll work across a wide range of technologies — including MSI services, IoT, ICT infrastructure, networking, electronic security and audio-visual — designing integrated solutions that meet and exceed our clients’ technical, commercial and operational requirements.
As a Service Engineer at LMG, you will play a critical role in maintaining the performance and reliability of Smart Building technologies across our client portfolio. This hands-on position involves both reactive and planned service activities, ensuring that incidents and service requests related to security systems infrastructure (such as CCTV and access control) and network infrastructure are resolved efficiently and within agreed SLAs. You will work closely with client stakeholders, including site security and IT teams, to ensure minimal disruption to building operations and optimal system performance. In addition, you will liaise with third-party suppliers and hardware vendors to coordinate timely responses and facilitate efficient problem resolution. You will be expected to diagnose and repair faults, carry out routine maintenance, and provide technical support to ensure optimal system functionality. Working closely with the Service Desk and Technical Support team, you will contribute to a high standard of customer service and technical excellence by maintaining accurate records of work carried out, including service reports. The role requires strong technical understanding, problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently across multiple sites and priorities.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the assigned space within our third-party storage facility. You will also be expected to manage incoming deliveries, stock inventory, and prepare materials for upcoming works. Collaborating with project managers and site supervisors to understand material requirements for upcoming construction projects, you will pick, pack, and prepare materials for dispatch to various job sites, whilst ensuring that all outgoing materials are accurately documented, and that deliveries are scheduled and coordinated efficiently. You will be expected to have excellent customer service and communication skills, be highly organised and able to work flexibly to meet client demands and possess a knowledge of Health & Safety protocols. A willingness to take on new tasks and demonstrate initiative will also be essential, as will the ability to lift and move heavy items when required.
As a Smart Building Infrastructure Technician, you will be based at Gatwick Airport, working within LMG’s dedicated team responsible for the on-site installation, support and maintenance of specialist smart building technology across the entire estate. Whilst you will have strong underlying competencies in the installation of copper and fibre network infrastructure, you will also have a willingness to learn and further develop skills, working across multiple smart technologies including, Audio-Visual, Electronic Security, IoT and Wired, Wireless & Mobile Networks. By demonstrating solid levels of knowledge, skills and expertise in cabling infrastructure and associated tech equipment installation, you will help the team to deliver projects on time and on budget, with a focus on technical excellence and maintaining Health and Safety standards. You will also provide consistently high levels of customer service, this being a vital part of the role, and achieved by working diligently to accurately interpret and deliver our customers’ needs.
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of projects, from bid stage through to handover. This role involves managing the design, procurement, on-site installation, commissioning, support, and maintenance of specialist smart building technologies across a portfolio of well-established client sites.
